Sixth Sense
Unfortunately, The Sixth Sense was never, as far as I know, a novel. Nevertheless I have
include it here for lack of a 'novel' example of this trick of the writer's art. The trick enabled me (a profound
sceptic of matters supernatural) to suspend belief sufficiently to enjoy it thoroughly.
The writing of the screenplay was by M Night Shayamalan, who also directed the
production starring Bruce Willis. If you think of a 'novel example, then let me know.
The film was nominated for Best Film a the Academy Awards, and is a good example of where
a book of the film would sell well.
